I picked this up on Facebook. This is an interesting blog post from The Never Ending Book Basket. If you're a reader, and most definitely an author, you will see why this post may be concerning enough not to simply gloss over.

Amazon has been bullying readers and authors over reviews for a while now, the most concerning of which is the "You Know the Author" scandal. Nowadays, in the time of Facebook, Twitter, and websites galore, it isn't hard to "know" the author; we receive friend requests and followers on a daily basis, and often from people who've bought our books and have dared to leave thoughtful reviews.
