Abrasive, Bold, and Uncompromising

If you're looking for the classic western tale, these books are not for you. Western purists will appreciate them; the history is there and accurate, but I didn't write these as "westerns". It's a story about the human condition set against the backdrop of the Wild West and the Lincoln County War revolving around Lucy "Lucky Lu" Howard (Bandita) and Billy the Kid.
Despite the 19th century loquacity, they're written in a modern style, and Bandita can be mean and sarcastic, though it makes for an interesting relationship between her and Billy. Speaking of which, the "romance" is secondary, and thorny.
These books are abrasive, bold, and uncompromising, so if you're easily offended by off-color obscenities, forget about it. I wrote these to be fun while historically inclusive. So if you're able to pick up on the humor and be amused by the moody temperament, then I'd vouch, as the author, these may be for you.
If you want an excerpt from Book II to get an idea, PM and I'll oblige.
Happy reading, happy holidays, and Merry Christmas!
